Christopher G. Darrow

President

Christopher G. Darrow

As a registered patent attorney, Mr. Darrow is responsible for procuring and managing large portfolios of U.S. and foreign patents for several large corporations. Mr. Darrow’s litigation background includes serving as a law clerk to Judge Paul D. Borman in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, practicing intellectual property law at a large international law firm, and litigating numerous cases dealing with a variety of intellectual property issues. Mr. Darrow serves as a consultant to federal judges in patent infringement cases, including in the roles of special master and technical adviser. Mr. Darrow co-authored with a federal judge in the Eastern District of Michigan a set of model case management orders for patent infringement cases. In his role as a court appointed special master and technical adviser, Mr. Darrow typically assists judges in settlement conferences by acting as a facilitator or mediator. He is also available to assist another mediator chosen by the parties with patent law issues and understanding the technology at issue in the case. Mr. Darrow has completed civil mediator training.

Nadine N. Mustafa

Ms. Mustafa concentrates her practice on patent prosecution, legal opinions, and strategic counseling relating to software, hardware, electronics, and semiconductors. Prior to entering the field of law, Ms. Mustafa was a software engineer for Denso International America, Inc. Her experience includes developing software for instrument cluster control systems, validating automotive communications systems, and integrating state of the art flash bootloaders. While obtaining her computer engineering degree, Ms. Mustafa worked for Vector CANtech, the leading manufacturer of software tools and software components for networking in electronic systems. Her responsibilities included integrating and testing software implementation packages based on CAN and designing and implementing a hardware-free, non-platform-specific test suite. Professional Experience * Preparation and prosecution of hundreds of U.S. and international patent matters in the computer science and electrical arts. * Prior art searching and formulating patentability assessments. * Freedom to practice, validity, infringement, and due diligence opinions. * _Inter_ _Partes_ Reviews. * _Ex Parte_ Reexaminations and PTAB appellate matters.
